You can temporarily disable the VirusBarrier X9 Real-Time Scanner and Scheduled Scans from the VirusBarrier overview window by sliding the switches for each to the 'Off' position:
Your software will be disabled until you either manually enable it again, or, restart your computer. You can also disable the software from the Real-Time Scanning - Settings and Schedule windows. Simply toggle the switches from "On" to "Off" as shown below:
Note: When these features are disabled, the buttons will appear gray instead of green in the main window:
