Open VirusBarrier X6 and click the word VirusBarrier in the top menu bar. Choose Preferences from the drop down menu and click the Advanced icon in the new window that appears. Now, click the 'Off' switch and enter your admin user password. Then, close this window. Your software will be disabled until you either manually enable it again, or, restart your computer.
