Verbose logs are logs that contain additional information about how certain software interacts with the operating system, including what processes are loading and running at particular times.
In order to help the Intego support team obtain more logging information regarding certain VirusBarrier issues, you may need to enable verbose logging.
Below you will find the steps necessary to enable verbose logging within VirusBarrier.
- Open VirusBarrier.
- Press and hold the Option button on the keyboard, then click on Help in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
- Click on Verbose Logging in the drop down menu.
- If possible, reproduce the issue prior to running the Intego Log Reporter.
After running the Intego Log Reporter please disable the option for verbose logging. To do so, repeat the same process as above to remove the check mark beside Verbose Logging within the Help drop down menu.
