It may be possible when opening your copy of Intego Antivirus for Windows that you see a message stating 'Invalid License Key, please try again or contact our support team,' like in the image below.
This can occur for multiple reasons:
- Your copy of Windows requires updating.
- Your Intego Antivirus for Windows requires a software version update.
- There is an issue with the number of devices in use on your license.
Check for Windows Updates
The first thing to do is check for any available Windows updates. You can find the steps for checking for available updates here.

Next, you will want to confirm that your Intego Antivirus for Windows is updated. You can check the latest version of Intego Antivirus for Windows here. Within your Intego software, you can see the version within the Settings > About menu.
If your software is not up to date, please reinstall your copy of Intego Antivirus for Windows.
