Not Enough Free Space to Scan iOS Device

You may see the following message when attempting to scan an iOS device with VirusBarrier X9:

In order to properly scan your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, VirusBarrier X9 must transfer the entire contents of the device to your Mac's internal hard drive during the scan operation.  The required space is in relation to the size of the iOS device storage capacity (not the storage space currently used).

For example, if your iPhone has a 64 GB storage capacity, you will need at least 64 GB of free space on your Mac in order to scan with VirusBarrier X9.

To find the amount of free space on your internal hard drive, go to Applications > Utilities and open Disk Utility:

Once you select your internal hard drive the space available will be displayed:

To find the storage capacity of your iOS device, go to Settings > General > About:
