If you are experiencing any issues with your Intego Privacy Protection VPN that require assistance from our Support Team, you may need to share your Debug Logs with us. You can follow the steps below to enable and share your Debug Logs.
First, open the Settings menu by click on the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner of the VPN window.
Then select the Help tab along the left side menu, as seen in the image below.
From there you will need to Enable Debug Logging within the settings of your Intego Privacy Protection VPN. Please view the image below to see how to Enable Debug Logging.
After this option has been enabled please make sure to reproduce the issue you are experiencing. Once replication is complete, the logs will become available locally on your Mac. Intego does not collect any data or information from your software automatically, or without your consent. You can retrieve the log file from the following location:
To access this location, open Finder and select 'Go' from the top menu bar. Within the drop down menu, you will select the option for 'Go to Folder' as seen in the image below.
A window will appear where you can enter the location /Library/Application Support/com.intego.privacyprotection.vpn/ into the search bar, and press enter.
You will see a .log file in this location, that you can add as an attachment to either a new support request, or any existing support request you have.
If you have not already submitted a technical support request, you will want to do so here, and attach the log file to the request by using the attachment option, shown in the image below.
