Why Is There A Red Dot On My Intego Tower Icon?

You may notice that there is occasionally a red dot beside your Intego icon in the top-right menu bar of your Mac's screen, near the date and time.

This means that one of your Intego applications requires attention. There may be an update for your software available, or an application may require permission to complete a task.

You can check this by selecting the Intego icon and following where the red dot is present in the drop down menu that appears.

Once the actions are completed, the red dot will disappear.
